Our story

In recent years... 

We've introduced the CEREC system, enabling us to use digital CAD/CAM technology to create beautiful crowns, bridges and veneers in a few hours on the premises without the need for multiple visits or temporary restorations. We also provide facial cosmetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers to help rejuvenate the skin, reduce the appearance of lines and add volume where it has been lost. We are pleased to offer cosmetic teeth straightening for adults using Invisalign clear aligners and replacing lost or missing teeth with dental implants.

We are proud to offer the services of our hygienist, who has helped transform and maintain the dental health of patients for many years. Prevention of dental disease is key to a healthy mouth, and she is great at educating patients on the best methods for maintaining good oral hygiene at home. Our hygienist will remove buildups of plaque and calculus, as well as provide stain removal.

Our practice is fully digital, with electronic patient records and advanced X-ray capabilities. We use a secure Patient Portal to help you manage your personal information and appointments with ease. Please ensure you notify us of any changes to your personal or medical details, as we will periodically ask you to update this information. To ensure your comfort, all of our surgeries are air-conditioned, providing a pleasant environment for both patients and dentists alike.

The practice is located close to Carshalton High Street, next to Carshalton Park. There is plenty of free on street parking and excellent public transport links with bus and train stations close by. Please note that there have been recent restrictions on parking on the nearby side roads, but parking is permitted without a permit between the hours of 11am and 4pm. Parking on Ruskin Road remains free. The practice unfortunately does not have step free access so may be difficult to access for those with mobility difficulties or those with young children and buggies. Please note that we now have surgeries located on the second floor, so please let us know in advance if you would prefer a downstairs surgery. If you require any assistance we will be more than happy to help. For those patients who find it difficult to access our premises, we can recommend alternative practices in the area that have easier access or provide a domicilliary service. 

For our existing patients, we endeavour to send reminders when routine examinations are due in order to maintain dental health. The interval between recalls will vary between patients, and is based on individual risk. Our capacity to provide NHS dental services is limited so we ask that NHS patients attend as frequently as recommended by the dentist to maintain their NHS position within the practice. If patients do not attend for two years, we may not be able to offer NHS appointments if we are at full capacity. Our ability to offer NHS dental services may vary throughout the year and we will publish on our website and social media pages when we can accept new NHS patients. Dr Jabbar Haghbedeh DDS - Principal (GDC No. 73726)

As Practice Principal, Dr. Haghbedeh oversees the team and leads the practice to continued growth and success. He takes great pride in the practice he has developed and remains committed to staying at the forefront of dental technology to ensure the best possible care and environment for his patients. While he has reduced his clinical workload in recent years, he continues to play an active role in the management and operations of the practice.

Dr Seville Haghbedeh BDS, PGCert (Dental Implantology) (GDC No. 229144)

Seville graduated from Cardiff University in 2012 and joined her father’s dental practice the following year. Since becoming part of Carshalton Park Dental Practice, she has played an integral role in its day-to-day running, with a commitment to providing the highest standards of care. Her warm, caring and empathetic approach has made her particularly popular with nervous and anxious patients, as well as children. She takes the time to listen to each patient and believes in creating a relaxed, reassuring environment where everyone feels comfortable and well cared for.

Seville has completed extensive postgraduate training and has a particular interest in dental implants, digital dentistry and facial aesthetics. She is proud to offer dental implant treatment at Carshalton Park and has a keen interest in same-day crowns using CEREC digital technology. She is also passionate about cosmetic smile treatments, including Invisalign, and is fully qualified to provide advanced facial aesthetic treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. She can also use Botox to help manage symptoms of teeth grinding and clenching and has recently introduced treatment to help manage snoring. Seville is committed to keeping up to date with the latest techniques and technology to provide personalised, high-quality treatment and excellent patient outcomes.

Outside of dentistry, Seville enjoys spending time with her family, including her two young daughters. She also enjoys cooking, watching crime dramas and crocheting. She particularly values the balance between her busy professional life and family time, and brings the same warmth, enthusiasm and caring nature to her life outside the practice.

Dr Jamie-Anne Rochford BDS, MFDS(Edi), PGCert Operative Dentistry(Tipton), PGCert Implantology(LCOI), PGCert Implantology(Tipton) (GDC No. 296598)

Jamie-Anne earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Bristol University. She has gained experience working in her home town in Manchester and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne before relocating to London in 2022. She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and has completed further training to achieve a Post-Graduate Certificate in Advanced Operative Dentistry, and two Post-Graduate Certificates in Implant Dentistry. Furthermore Jamie-Anne is currently pursuing further postgraduate training leading to Diplomas in both Restorative Dentistry and Complex Implant Dentistry, and is always keen to share her advancing knowledge with the team.

Jamie-Anne has a warm and friendly approach, which helps to quickly build strong relationships with her patients.

Dr Emily McAleese BDS (GDC No. 309477)

Emily joins Carshalton Park following the successful completion of her Foundation Training and further Dental Core Training at the renowned St George’s Hospital. During this time, she gained extensive experience managing a wide range of cases in oral surgery, restorative dentistry, paediatrics, and supporting patients with dental anxiety.

An award-winning graduate of Queen’s University, Belfast, where she achieved honours, Emily is committed to continuous professional development. She has undertaken additional training, and is pursuing an advanced course in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, to further enhance her skills and deliver the highest standard of care to her patients.

Outside of dentistry, Emily enjoys running, volunteering, and music.

Dr Simran Kaur BDS (GDC No. 290963)

Simran graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2020. She enjoys getting to know her patients and takes a gentle, personalised approach to make them feel comfortable and at ease. She provides a range of NHS and private treatments and is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy teeth and feel confident in their smiles.

Outside of dentistry, Simran enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, movies, and trying new places to eat.

Dr Maham Chaudhry BDS (GDC No. 328095)

Maham graduated from King’s College London and also holds an Honours qualification in Dental Materials from Queen Mary University of London. She recently completed her Dental Foundation Training in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex deanery, where she was recognised for her clinical skills and commitment to professional development.

Maham has a keen interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, particularly natural composite restorations. She is passionate about building a good rapport with her patients and helping them feel comfortable and at ease, particularly those who may be anxious about dental treatment. She also enjoys treating children and making their dental visits a positive experience. Alongside dentistry, she has an interest in facial aesthetics and is currently completing her Level 7 Diploma, having gained experience in skin boosters, polynucleotides and anti-wrinkle treatments.

Outside of work, Maham enjoys Pilates, travelling, cooking and painting.

Dr Chetan Morjaria BDS MJDF RCS(Eng) DIP PHIL, MClinDent Endo, MEndo RCS (Ed) (GDC No. 193203)

Chetan joins Carshalton Park as a specialist endodontist, with his clinical practice limited to endodontics/root canal treatment and apical microsurgery. He has completed his specialist endodontic training at the prestigious King’s College London Dental Institute with distinction. He is also involved in teaching undergraduate dental students at Guy’s Hospital and lectures to general dentists on root canal treatment.

Chetan qualified from Guy’s, Kings & St Thomas’ Hospitals, London following which he completed his Vocational Training in Surrey where he further developed his interest in dentistry. Chetan went on to undertake numerous hospital posts as a Senior House Officer, where he gained further training under consultant led tutelage. This included restorative dentistry, special care dentistry and orthodontics at Kingston, East Surrey and Croydon University Hospitals.

Outside of dentistry, Chetan enjoys fitness, spending time with family and friends and regularly carries out voluntary work in London and abroad.

Dr Zaneev Shirodkar (Dentist with a Special Interest in Oral Surgery) (GDC No. 193460)

Zaneev Shirodkar graduated from King’s College London in 2010 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). He has since undertaken further advanced surgical training at the University of Bristol, where he completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Oral Surgery in 2023, graduating with Merit.

Zaneev joins Carshalton Park Dental Practice as a Dentist with a Special Interest in Oral Surgery, providing private oral surgery services for patients requiring advanced procedures. His expertise includes the surgical removal of complex teeth, including difficult extractions and wisdom tooth surgery, allowing patients to receive high-quality care in a calm and controlled environment.

Alongside his surgical work, Zaneev has extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive dentistry, including composite bonding, as well as preventative care.

Zaneev is known for his friendly, calm, and reassuring approach. He takes pride in delivering high-quality treatment while ensuring patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their care.

Outside of dentistry, Zaneev enjoys spending time outdoors with his young family and is a keen BBQ enthusiast—whatever the weather.

Winstina Thompson (GDC No. 5562)

Winstina is our highly experienced dental hygienist, and offers hygienist services to patients; both through dentist referrals and direct access without the need for a referral. Her primary focus is the non-surgical treatment of gum disease, with an emphasis on maintaining optimal oral hygiene and preventing dental issues. She works closely with the dental team to manage gum disease by removing plaque, calculus, and stains, ensuring the continued health of teeth and gums.
